News
New format for meetings. NEW Collab is embracing a new
format. Meetings will now be more content-based, and will focus on selected
topics of interest to those considering or currently practicing dispute
resolution using the collaborative process, and on networking with other
professionals. All professionals with an interest in the collaborative
process are invited to attend.
Your invitation to join NEW Collab. Would you like to join
Collaborative Professionals of Northeast Wisconsin? If you are an
attorney, mental health professional, or financial advisor who has, or would
like to develop, a collaborative practice, we invite you to consider the
benefits of membership. For more information, please join us for our next
scheduled meeting, or contact Mark Schubert at 920-739-9200.
Join a Committee. NEW Collab
committees include Marketing, Training, and Forms & Member Benefits.
Committees offer a practical way for all of us to collectivize and leverage our
individual efforts as we search for more effective ways to promote the
collaborative process. They are also an excellent way to learn and improve
on a variety of practice related skills, develop meaningful networking contacts,
and enhance your visibility as a collaborative professional. If you have
any interest in expanding your participation in NEW Collab to include
participation on one of these committees, or have ideas for a new committee,
please contact
Mark Schubert.
Events & Collaborative Trainings
NEW Collab presented its basic level multi-disciplinary training, The
Nuts & Bolts of Collaborative Family Law, on March 12, 2009, and will be
presented again according to demand. The Nuts & Bolts training can
also be presented in other locations upon request of current or aspiring
collaborative professionals in other parts of Wisconsin or the U.S. If you have an interest in a training
being sponsored in your area, please see our Training
page.
The Collaborative Family Council of Wisconsin, Inc., periodically sponsors
collaborative training including its two day, multi-disciplinary training in collaborative family law, The
Building Blocks of Collaborative Practice. The next CFLCW Building
Blocks of Collaborative Practice training has now been scheduled for
Thursday, September 30th and Friday, October 1st, 2010. In addition,
CFLCW's 10th Annual Meeting and Training has been scheduled for Thursday,
November 18, 2010, at the Delafield Hotel, 415 Genesee St., Delafield, WI. For more details (as they become available), visit the CFLCW website at
